The annual Hispanic Television Awards recognize individuals, program series, talent, and organizations for leadership in evolving the business of television intended for Hispanic audiences worldwide. The awards are presented in several categories. Three awards recognize “pioneers in Hispanic television” who continue to grow the industry by their continued efforts of 20+ years. Another award is presented in recognition of executive leadership while another recognizes corporate leadership. The final and most prestigious award is the legacy award for Outstanding Achievement in Hispanic Television which usually recognizes a talent, or a program series or event. The awards presentation will be hosted by Ana Jurka, Sports anchor and co-host of “Titulares y Más” - Telemundo Deportes.
