Chief Strategy Officer
Stuart Schwartzapfel  is the Chief Strategy Officer at Canvs AI, a leader in Emotion Measurement for the Media & Entertainment space. In his role at Canvs, Stuart leads Sales Strategy efforts at the NYC-based, venture-backed, 35-person start-up. Current clients on the roster include the likes of Fox Networks Group, Turner, Viacom, Sony, NBC Universal and Netflix. Prior to joining Canvs AI as one of the first members of the company, Stuart spent 12 years cutting his insights & storytelling teeth on the agency side, working as one part account planner, one part market analyst. Most recently, before joining Canvs, Stuart was the VP of Strategy & Analytics at Big Fuel Communications, a full service social marketing agency that was acquired in 2011 by Publicis as the holding company's social center of excellence. In his role at Big Fuel, Stuart served a critical function during pre and post sale stages, setting the social strategy and managing day-to-day operations for accounts like General Motors, Gatorade and T-Mobile. From national tier 1 branding to tier 2 digital strategy and social media innovation, Stuart has explored consumer decision journeys up and down traditional and emerging media spaces.
