Hylan Fenster is Senior Legal Counsel at Adobe Systems Incorporated where he supports the Adobe Sales teams and negotiates and counsels on a broad range of outbound enterprise licensing and sales matters for on-demand services, managed services, on-premise software, and professional services – areas that are critical to Adobe's success – as well as manages a team of attorneys and advises Sales, Sales Management and other relevant groups on a variety of licensing, intellectual property, commercial, anti-trust, data security and privacy law matters. Prior to joining Adobe, Hylan worked as an associate attorney in the Corporate and the Health Care and Life Sciences practice groups of prestigious law firms in Manhattan and Long Island, New York where he concentrated in all areas of corporate law and transactional matters including IP, technology, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, private equity, venture capital and health care. He has spoken at a variety of corporate educational and career events, and he has written regularly on legal matters. He is a member of the Association of Corporate Counsel, the Nassau County Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association, and the Cornell Alumni Admissions Ambassador Network. Mr. Fenster has also been a member of the Board of Directors of the Cornell Club of Long Island since 2014. He earned his Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School in 2005 and his Bachelor of Science degree, cum laude, from Cornell University in 2002.
