Marcus Ellington is passionate about emerging trends in media and technology and has worked in digital media for 12+ years helping brands tell new stories, reach new audiences and drive sales results. Marcus is currently the Head of Industry for Media & Entertainment at Google/YouTube where he oversees an ad sales team focused on partnering with TV networks.

Marcus began his career at CBS where he developed integrated marketing campaigns for CBS on-air franchises such as March Madness, Grammy’s and US Open Tennis. After CBS, Marcus worked at Radio One as Director of Ad Sales where he focused on helping brands reach multicultural consumers online, on mobile and at live events.

Marcus holds a BA in Communications from Temple University and is a graduate of Duke University’s Google Global Business Academy. Marcus also serves on the Board of Directors of The Laundromat Project, a NYC based Non-Profit that focuses on providing artists a platform to become community leaders to drive positive social change.
