For the past two years, Matt Stein has served as the head of brand and creative strategy at Philo, where he has overseen the positioning and consumer facing messaging of the streaming service since their launch in November of 2017. Additionally, he has worked closely with Philo’s network partners on developing multi-touchpoint awareness and acquisition campaigns.

Prior to Philo, Matt spent 20 years deeply immersed in the cable universe- developing, writing and producing content for VH1, Spike TV, Discovery Kids and The Travel Channel, amongst others. He also oversaw marketing for networks including BBC America, Science Channel, and Animal Planet, where he championed innovative and disruptive approaches to audience development, social strategy, show launches, branded content, and marketing campaigns.
