Wes Harris leads marketing for YouTube Originals which includes strategy and execution of all consumer-facing advertising and promotion designed to drive audience, sampling and awareness of YouTube Original series and movies including the breakout hit Cobra Kai, which was recently crowned the number #1 show on Rotten Tomatoes for Summer 2018.

Prior to this role, Wes led product marketing for YouTube Originals and was responsible for overall portfolio marketing strategy, defining the content's brand voice and positioning, and optimizing campaign performance analysis and reporting. Before Google, Wes oversaw product marketing for all of the consumer-facing media properties at Yahoo including Yahoo Sports, News, Finance, Entertainment and original video which included several different content initiatives from pioneering short form shows like the Emmy-nominated Burning Love and Tom Hanks’ Electric City to premium long form shows like the reboot of NBC’s Community and Paul Feig’s Other Space to specialty programming like Katie Couric exclusive interviews and daily live-streamed concerts in partnership with Live Nation.

Wes started his career at NBC Universal where he managed marketing campaigns at several of their linear cable networks. Wes is an MBA graduate of UCLA Anderson and lives in Los
