Lia Silkworth is Senior Vice President of Strategy and Insights for Telemundo. In her role, she develops and leads the programming and consumer research departments for Telemundo Network, Universo and its digital properties. Silkworth is responsible for synthesizing insights from quantitative and qualitative data to provide expert guidance on brand performance, multi-platform viewing, and other key business goals. In addition, she is charged with the development of progressive research strategies to generate revenue growth, engage consumers in innovative ways and advance the long-range business vision and strategy of NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises.
A seasoned media expert, Silkworth was previously Executive Vice President, Managing Director for Publicis Media (formerly Starcom Mediavest Group) where she led the agency’s largest transformation and defined its path to ensure its position as the top/leading U.S. multicultural media agency. Prior to that role, she served as Senior Vice President, Group & Investment Director at Publicis Media, where she spearheaded investment across the multicultural division and managed the execution of strategic direction, business opportunity analysis and media tactics.

During her career, Silkworth has led strategic planning and investment duties for clients including Sprint, Samsung, Kraft, Miller Brewing Company, Allstate, Burger King, Kellogg's, McDonald's, Proctor & Gamble, Disney Parks & Resorts, Disney Studios and General Motors.
Silkworth graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science degree in Advertising. She resides in Miami with her husband and two children."
