Kaizar Campwala serves as Vice President, Business Operations and Insights for ABC News. In this role he oversees analytics, partnership opportunities and business development operations.

Over the course of his career, Campwala has helped great journalism and media organizations thrive. He co-founded and served as President of CALmatters, a statehouse reporting organization in Sacramento, led Stitcher’s business development team during the company’s formative years and most recently was Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Al Jazeera where he launched Jetty, the audio-first brand and studio.

Campwala holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Brown University and MBA from UCLA. He is on the board of the San Francisco Public Press and is currently a fellow at the Tow Center for Digital Journalism at Columbia University. He is a father of two residing in New York City.
