Steve Walsh has spent his entire career pushing the envelope in audience measurement research.
In his role as Executive Vice President of Local Markets at Comscore, he works closely with TV station group executive management as well as individual station management, sales and research and digital teams and the advertising agencies and marketers they serve, to demonstrate how comScore can help clients drive revenue, market share and profit across all video platforms.
Mr. Walsh brings more than 25 years of proven strategic sales and sales management experience to his role at Comscore. After launching and leading the Local Television business at Rentrak, he joined comScore when the companies merged in early 2016. In addition, he has held key sales leadership positions at research industry startups and current standard-bearers
like Integrated Media Measurement, Inc. (IMMI), Experian Research Services, IAG Research, TNS Media Intelligence and Nielsen Media Research. He is a member of the Television Bureau of Advertising (TVB) and the Advertising Research Foundation
(ARF) and is a frequent speaker at prestigious universities and conferences nationwide.
