Previously at Altice USA/a4 Media John was vice president of marketing, where he managed strategic media planning and analytics for the consumer brands Optimum and Suddenlink. Prior to that role, he was vice president of database marketing at Cablevision, which was acquired by Altice USA in 2016, where he led the data-driven decision process in marketing more than four years.
One of John’s core strengths is his long-term vision for how data influences marketing, operations and strategy to systemically solve problems and increase efficiency throughout an organization. He led the initiative to measure and optimize incremental impact of all channels in the marketing mix for Optimum where he decreased cost per sale by 18%, while lifting total sales and generating over $45MM in new customer value.
Prior to joining Cablevision in 2009, John was vice president of data strategy for Intellidyn, a provider of analytics and marketing services for the lending, insurance and travel industries. In that role, he was responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of data services, developing staff in data mining, predictive modeling and data management as well as consulting in business development.
John received his bachelor’s degree in computer science from New York Institute of Technology.
