Over a career spanning nearly 17 years, Roy Meyeringh has achieved a deep understanding of the North American General Market and Hispanic broadcast industry with extensive experience in multiplatform channel development and distribution. As VP of Business Development & Affiliate Sales, Roy supervises the digital, marketing, and research divisions of the company and also focuses on the identification and execution of strategic business solutions that further organizational performance both in the US and Canada. Under his watch, beIN’s brand equity grew exponentially through the successful negotiation of over 50 affiliate agreements, driving subscriber growth from 7 million to 44 million across all major MVPDs and vMVPDs.
Prior to joining beIN SPORTS, Roy played an instrumental role in the successful launch and management of 16 linear channels serving the US General and Hispanic markets, from senior roles within global media providers including the MundoFox Miami affiliate WGEN TV, MGM Networks Latin America, Imagina US, SomosTV and Venevision International. Roy received his undergraduate degree from Rhodes College and his graduate degree from the University of Miami School of Business. He lives in Miami FL with his wife and two sons.
