Matt Barnes is Sr. Director, Programmatic Sales & Strategy, Disney Advertising Sales. In this role Barnes is responsible for driving all Advanced Advertising revenue offerings and partnerships across Disney’s entertainment, news, sports and kids linear and digital TV portfolio including ABC, Disney Channels Worldwide, ESPN, Freeform, FX Networks and National Geographic Networks, as well as the Disney Digital Network, the Company’s online, mobile and social offerings.
In addition to his programmatic sales role, Barnes leads strategic audience based sales initiatives across the company. He and his team defines Disney’s programmatic strategy around live events and premium long form video. Barnes oversight includes liaising with clients to bring audience and automation to the Company’s linear TV business.
Prior to Disney, Barnes spent six years at various media agencies focused around roles in strategic planning and digital investment.
Barnes holds a B.A. in Communications and Minor in Business from University of Scranton.
