Javier Saralegui is the Chief Executive Officer and founder of DangerTV (dangertv.com), a  FAST (free ad supported tv) digital video platform that distributes and monetizes danger-centric content both long and short form in both English and Spanish. Initially focused on  the United States, DangerTV is now expanding globally and growing rapidly in terms of viewership, additional distribution and advertisers. DangerTV lis available via SamsungTV Plus, Vizio Watch Free, Sling Free, YouTube and a host of other FAST platforms. 

Prior to launching DangerTV, Mr. Saralegui was the founder and former President/Chief Operating Officer of Univision.com, Univision Communications' online division since 2000. During his tenure, Mr. Saralegui led Univision.com to become the largest Spanish language web site in the United States, both in terms of audience as well as in advertising and non- subscription revenue. Univision.com was part of the Univision Communications sale to private equity in 2007. 

Before becoming an Internet executive, Mr. Saralegui was President of Galavision, Univision's cable television channel. In 1996, he took over a turn-around effort and left it four years later as the largest Spanish language cable channel in the United States, in terms of audience, revenue and homes passed. Galavision’s contribution to Univision’s enterprise value when sold in 2007 was over $1B. 

Mr. Saralegui is one of the few senior media executives who has had successful careers in both cable and digital. His experience in both mediums as well as his current first hand experience launching a digital media destination that is designed to exploit all manner of platforms from social media to connected TV’s, makes him a unique witness to the disruption occurring in the media industry today. It has also made him an expert on exploring options when legacy business models suddenly find themselves out of date.

Mr. Saralegui serves on a variety of boards and advisory firms. He is a partner in Peloton X, a strategic Hispanic advisory firm. He is an advisor and board member at Fuse TV, a general entertainment and music cable channel focused on reaching multi-cultural millennials. Mr Saralegui also acts as an advisor to BWG Strategy, a media advisory firm focused on current trends.

Mr. Saralegui was Hispanic Ad.com's Media Executive of the Year in 2006. While at Galavision, Mr. Saralegui was also inducted into the NAMIC Cable Hall of Fame. He has also served on boards at Parsons School of Design/NY as well at the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB). He is a graduate or Hobart College and has a B.A. in Economics. Mr. Saralegui resides in Manhattan, New York with his wife Angela and their three children.
