Cathy Rasenberger is President of Rasenberger Media, LLC. (www.rasenbergermedia.com), a leading media industry consulting firm providing strategic business development and outsourced distribution, operations and management services to the industry. Rasenberger founded the company in 1998 to help develop and launch independent cable networks. In the past 25 years, Rasenberger Media has advised more than 100+ companies on all aspects of network development, and has successfully helped launch 27 cable and over a dozen streaming FAST networks, including AccuWeather/AccuWeather NOW, Newsmax TV, Al Jazeera, TV One, Outside TV, Outdoor Channel, TD Ameritrade Network, RFD-TV, MGM HD, Newsworld International, Universal Sports (WCSN), PBS Nature, PFL MMA, Free Movies Plus and more. Rasenberger Media has advised major media companies on strategic business development and market expansion strategies, including WNET, WWE, Verizon Wireless, Conde Nast, MGM, Al Jazeera, Universal Music, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, and WURL among others. Additionally, Rasenberger has been retained by top private equity firms to provide analysis and due diligence on investment opportunities in the media space. Before founding her company, Rasenberger helped launch and build the Food Network from concept through its eventual sale to E.W. Scripps as SVP Distribution and Affiliate Marketing. Previously, Rasenberger held senior management roles at Cablevision Magazine, ESPN, TV Guide, and Warner Bros. TV.  Rasenberger holds a BA in History and Literature from Harvard College, Harvard University.
