As Head of Content for Samsung TV Plus at Samsung Electronics, Andy Singer is a proven executive who has developed and implemented complex, multiplatform strategies and driven record revenue growth on behalf of several premier media businesses. In addition to his experience overseeing cable brands and media companies, Singer has built a successful track record working with high-profile talent, overseeing content for linear and digital platforms, and fostering innovative partnerships with international brands and advertisers.
Prior to Samsung, Andy served as EVP of TV & Digital content at Alkemy X, where he was responsible for growing original content development and production, and successfully built a multi-disciplinary team that significantly increased the company’s business pipeline. Andy previously held leadership roles at the Travel Channel, the DIY Channel, and HGTV. Among his accomplishments, Singer is credited with launching popular Travel Channel series including Expedition Unknown, Hotel Impossible, and Bizarre Foods America, and such hit DIY Network series as The Vanilla Ice Project, Rehab Addict, and Yard Crashers.
Beginning his television career at a young age, Singer’s work has appeared on A&E, VH1, Twentieth Century Fox, Fox News Channel, and MSNBC. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida.
