Patrick Crakes has served in various senior executive media roles during the course of his career including several at FOX Sports where he began his career in the studio mail room.  During the last six years of his 23-year Fox Sports tenure he served as SVP, Programming, Research and Content Strategy responsible for strategic programming decisions across multiple sports networks and platforms including FOX, FS1, FS2, FOX Deportes and the Fox Sports Regional Sports Networks on a national programming basis.  In that role, he managed relationships with numerous content partners among them the NFL, NASCAR, MLB, FIFA, USSF, PBC, MLS, UFC, Big Ten, Big 12, Pac-12, Big East, UEFA, NHRA, and CONCACAF.  While at FOX Sports he also oversaw the Primary Research Group with numerous strategic landscape projects into the future of media consumption and content development including business case, addressable market and SVOD price elasticity. After FOX Sports, he spent two years as EVP, Strategic Insights and Business Operations for InVivo Media Group, a privately-held event management company featuring live music promotion and talent/commercial partnerships across the U.S. Latino & Latin American marketplaces. Currently, he is Principal of Crakes Media, a strategic advisory focused on media landscape evolution, distribution strategy, programming rights negotiations and valuation, content creation and business operations.  His clients include private and public investment firms and sports media companies across both the international and domestic U.S. investing and event spectrum.  Crakes has also served as an expert witness in multiple media related legal matters in both the Federal Court System and the Delaware Court of Chancery.  In addition, he serves as a senior advisor and board member to several early and late-stage media ventures to include Sports Bubble, the National Ruby Football League, the World Supercross and the Women’s National Football Conference.  Crakes has a B.A. in Economics from Indiana University and is also a commissioned officer in the United State Army Reserve and a former paratrooper having served three years on active duty in the 82nd Airborne Division.
