Sylvia George is EVP of Performance Marketing for AMC Networks where she leads the media strategy and planning, growth marketing, retention and consumer engagement efforts across the AMC Networks brands with a focus on growing streaming subscription services including AMC+, Acorn TV, Shudder, Sundance Now, ALLBLK and the newly acquired anime streaming service HIDIVE.  
 
George formerly served as the General Manager of UMC (now, ALLBLK) from 2018-2020, where she oversaw triple digit growth in subscriptions for that service, and as the President of U.S. distribution for RLJ Entertainment, managing distribution, sales and marketing across the Acorn, UMC and RLJE films categories. 

Prior to her role at RLJ Entertainment, George oversaw sales and marketing for Acorn Media prior to its purchase by RLJ, and later AMC Networks. In this role, George helped to build Acorn’s brand profile as the “chief curator of the best Brit TV” (TIME Magazine), and grew the brand’s footprint across retail while developing a growing business in the streaming and digital home video markets.
